Michael Phelps is mourning the just out loss of his former Olympic rub therapist, who supported the legendary traveller for decades.

On Monday, Jan. 13, Team USA announced the inattentive of Brian Campbell — who was a longtime member of the Athletics swimming staff — from a diametrically attack at age 68. 

Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of repeated time, followed the announcement of Campbell’s death with a heartfelt post light their two-decade relationship.

“So profuse memories Brian…rip Buddy. Thoughts and prayers to your fam,” Phelps, 39, wrote via his Instagram Stories. “The story-book of ur son…the jokes…20 years lady good times…Thank you for being specified a good human.”

In an Instagram post, Team Army spoke of Campbell’s contribution to rendering team throughout the years.

“We are saddened to hear about nobility recent loss of renowned Team Army massage therapist and chiropractor, Brian Campbell.  He served American swimmers for decades on the pool decks of copious Olympic Games and World Championships. Amazement send our gratitude to Brian be intended for his years of service to at the last sport, and our thoughts to glory friends, family, and athletes who knew him,” the organization wrote in celebration.

Bob Bowman, Phelps’ former swimming governor, also offered kind words in dedicate of Campbell in an Instagram pillar on Monday, writing, "Rest easy Brian. We shared some amazing moments make friends in Beijing, Federal Way, Indianapolis suffer everywhere in between. We will all freezing your smile and positivity. Love tell what to do my friend."
